True Security Privacy — Privacy Policy

Last updated:

Welcome to True Security Privacy (“the App”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This policy explains what data the App may process, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1) Scope

This policy applies to the True Security Privacy Android application and related services offered by us (“we”, “our”, “us”). If you are using features provided by third parties (e.g., crash reporting or analytics), their privacy practices also apply.

2) Information We Collect

2.1 Data you provide

  • Account or contact info (only if you choose to contact us): name, email, and message content.
  • Feedback you submit inside the app or via email.

2.2 Data the app may process automatically

  • Device information: device model, OS version, app version, language, and basic diagnostics.
  • Usage data: interactions with app screens and settings (aggregated or anonymized where possible).
  • Crash logs (if enabled): non-personal diagnostic data for reliability.

We do not sell personal data.

3) How We Use Information

  • To provide core security/privacy features of the App.
  • To improve performance, reliability, and user experience.
  • To communicate with you about support requests or important updates.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4) Sharing & Disclosure

We do not share personal information with third parties except:

  • Service providers that process data on our behalf (e.g., analytics/crash services) under confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
  • Legal reasons where we are required to comply with applicable law, regulation, or valid legal process.
  • Business transfers (if applicable) with notice provided as required.

5) App Permissions

Depending on your settings and device version, the App may request the following permissions to deliver features (you can deny any non-essential permission):

  • Accessibility Service — to enable protective features such as monitoring risky overlays and enhancing privacy controls. Data is processed locally where possible.
  • Usage Access — to identify potentially harmful app behavior patterns and apply protections.
  • Notification Access (optional) — to detect suspicious notifications and help you manage privacy alerts.
  • Internet — for updates, support, and optional crash/analytics submissions.
Note: You can revoke permissions anytime in Settings > Apps > True Security Privacy > Permissions.

6) Data Retention & Deletion

  • We keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above.
  • You may request deletion of your support messages and related contact data at any time (see Contact Us).

7) Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

8) Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9) Your Rights & Choices

  • Access, correct, or delete information you provided to us (e.g., support messages).
  • Opt out of analytics/crash reporting (if toggles are provided in settings, or contact us).
  • Uninstall the App to stop all data collection by the App on your device.

10) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date above.
